Arrangements completed for Haj pilgrims

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 17 (UNI) Kerala Local Administration Minister Paloli Mohammad Kutty, who is also in charge of Haj affairs, today said all arrangements had been completed for this year's Haj pilgrimage beginning from October 30.

As many as 7,500 pilgrims, including those from Lakshadweep and Mahe (Puducherry), would fly to Jeddah in Saudi Arabia from the Karippur airport, the Haj embarkation point in the state, he said in a release here.

A Haj camp would be held under the auspices of the State Haj Committee on October 28, he said.
