Titan to open 15 new stores in Eastern India

Kolkata, Oct 16(UNI) Titan Industries plans to open 15 flagship 'World of Titan' stores in the eastern region this fiscal.

"We have 45 World of Titan stores in the east out of 222 in the country. We will open 15 more stores in the region during the current fiscal," Titan Industries Regional Sales Manager Mr Rajiv Verma said today said at the launch of Raga Diva, an exquisite range of watches for women.

Of the proposed stores, at least four to five would come up in West Bengal offering only high-end watches for women.

In the first quarter of the current fiscal, Titan Industries posted a net profit of Rs 32.22 crore profit with the total sales revenue being at Rs 811.14 crore.

Mr Verma said the jewellery segment contributed Rs 615.72 crore to the kitty and the watch segment Rs 171.89 crore.
