Strong winds bring more relief in Delhi, mercury drops to 30.7 Deg C

New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI) For the second day today, strong winds brought relief for Delhiites from the warm and humid weather of the past week, bringing the mercury further down to 30.7 degrees Celsius.

The overcast sky, coupled with the cool winds, brought down the maximum temperature, from 32.7 degrees Celsius yesterday, to 30.7 degrees C, two degrees below normal.

Earlier in the day, the minimum also dropped, from 24.2 degrees Celsius yesterday, to 21.1 degrees C.

The cool weather in Delhi is likely to persist over the next few days with weathermen forecasting more thundry development in Delhi in the next three to four days.

The Met office has forecast a partly cloudy sky in Delhi during the next 24 hours with possibility of thundry development in some areas.
