SmartCity to launch 'Connect' magazine

Kochi, Oct 16 (UNI) SmartCity, a joint venture between TECOM Investments and Sama Dubai, will launch 'Connect' magazine to increase the interface between the knowledge-based industry and SmartCity stakeholders at the GITEX technology week later this month in Dubai.

This also forms part of SmartCity's strategic move towards increasing its marketing activities with the ultimate aim of drawing international, regional and local businesses to relocate their businesses to strategically-located destinations such as SmartCity Malta, SmartCity Kochi and TECOM Business Parks in Dubai, according an official statement said here today.

Commenting on the launch, SmartCity CEO Fareed Abdulrahman said: '' We are very excited about the introduction of Connect - which aims at providing cutting-edge insights from today's thought leaders and promoting industry excellence. Connect is in line with SmartCity's vision to create a global network of self-sustained business townships to foster the knowledge economy by connecting SmartCity locations.'' The publication is targeted at CEOs, CFOs and key decision makers in IT, media and the knowledge economy and covers a wide range of topics relevant to business leaders worldwide; including business and technology trends, interviews and opinion articles from influential people in business and government; and spotlights on regional trade shows and industry sectors, the statement added.
