AP: Scientist assumed responsibilities

Hyderabad, Oct 16: Dr K V Raghavan, Former Chairman, RAC of DRDO and Former Director of the Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT) Hyderabad and the Central Leather Research Institute, Chennai has assumed the responsibilities of the FCAE Distinguished Professorship at the IICT from this month.

He would guide a research group specialising in reaction engineering studies on green chemical processes to enhance commercial prospect of green options like reaction cum separations, single pot synthesis tailored reaction media, microwave/sonic augmented reaction systems etc, an official release said.

His research group would forge close linkages with leading academic institutions in these areas, the release added.
