Posh's theft accused housekeeper says she adores her too much to hurt her

London, Oct 16 : Ace footballer David Beckham's housekeeper June Emmett, 56, says that she loves his wife Victoria very much, and would not do anything to hurt her.

June, her husband Eric, 55 and their son Gareth, 25, had been arrested and accused of stealing from the celebrity couple's home recently.

"I love Victoria to bits and I would never do anything to harm her," the Sun quoted her as saying.

"Deep down, I think she must know that.

"I've known her and her family for years. She is a successful woman and I admire her. They have always taken care of us," she added.

The two from Nazeing, Essex, have been working for the England captain, 33, and his "Spice Girl" wife, 34, for a decade, looking after their "Beckingham Palace" mansion near Sawbridgeworth, Herts.

After being arrested, all three of them were released on bail until November 22.

They have stood firm by their denial of the theft.

"We are desperate to clear our names but can't say anything else at the moment," June added.
