Karnataka offers land for railway Coach Factory
Bangalore, Oct 16(UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa today appealed to Union Railway Minister Lalu Prasad to sanction the proposed Railway Coach Factory at Rae Bareli for which Uttar Pradesh government has cancelled the allotment of land.
In a letter to the Union Railway minister, the Karnataka Chief Minister promised to extend all facilities, including the land required to set up the factory in the state.
Mr Yeddyurappa also pointed out that the Karnataka government has already given 100 acres of land in Hubli free of cost to the Railway ministry to expand Cargo and Workshop activities.
Karnataka was ready to sanction the required land for the coach factory anywhere in the state.
