ICSA Q2 PAT up by 66% to Rs. 48 crore
Hyderabad, Oct 15 (UNI) ICSA India Ltd., which provides embedded technology solutions for the power sector, posted a Profit After Tax of Rs 48.03 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2008, an increase of 66.31% over Rs 28.88 crore for the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
The total Income increased by 86.62% YoY, to Rs 279.61 crore from Rs 149.83 crore last year.
In a statement, ICSA (India) Limited Chairman and Managing Director Bala Reddy said, ''The results are in line with our target for future growth. A sound order book position reinforces the company's capabilities in the transmission and distribution sector.
We hope to be one of the sought after companies in the Power distribution sector.'' For the half year ended September 30, 2008, ICSA's Net Income went up by 93.78% to Rs 521.01 crore from Rs 268.86 crore last year.
PAT for the same period was up by 68.54% to Rs. 88.99 crore from Rs. 52.80 crore last year. Revenue from embedded solutions&software services shot up by 90.44% to Rs. 190.32 crore, from Rs.
99.93 crore last year.
