Deputy chief probation officer suspended in UP
Lucknow, Oct 16 (UNI) The Uttar Pradesh government has suspended Chandra Gautam, the deputy chief probation officer of the Women and Child development department, for not complying her transfer order and conducting laxity.
The information was provided by Women and Child Development Department secretary R S Verma today.
Ms Gautam has been attached with Women Welfare Directorate during this duration, he informed.
The state government had shifted her from Faizabad to Agra, but she opposed her transfer and moved a writ petition in the High Court.
The court had cancelled her application and directed her to hold charge at Agra.
