DDA disposes of commercial shops, offices
New Delhi, Oct 16 (UNI) In a step aimed at providing commercial infrastructure in different parts of the city, the Delhi Development Authority is disposing of commercial shops and offices at Panchsheel, Defence Colony, Dwarka, Preet Vihar, Ashok Vihar, Lawrence Road, Transport Centre Rohtak Road, Rohini, Pitampura, Mayur Vhar, Dilshad Garden and Ashok Vihar.
In response to the DDA inviting sealed tenders for sale of freehold built-up shops and offices situated at various locations in Delhi, vide public notices were issued in leading newspapers on August 30 and 31, the authority recieved 29 bids, a DDA spokesperson said.
The bid amount offered is Rs 21.69 crore against the reserve price of Rs 20.28 crore. The result of the tender programme along with detail of the highest bidder and particulars of built-up commercial units is available at DDA's website www.dda.org.in.
DDA had so far constructed 642 commercial complexes of various capacities like 11 district centres, 44 community centres, 138 local shopping centres, 449 convenient and shopping centres. The built up shops were being disposed of on a continuous basis so as to provide commercial infrastructure in almost all corners of the city.
