Court asks prosecution to file say on documents

Mumbai, Oct 16 (UNI) The Sessions Court today directed the prosecution to file their say on the petition filed by Kannada actress Maria Susairaj, an accused in Neeraj Grover murder case.

By moving this petition, Susairaj has sought details of telephone numbers that were provided by proseuction to the court.

The matter, after assignment by Principal judge T V Nalavade, for the first time came before the trial court judge S C Jadhav.

Prosecution had earlier shown their unwillingness to provide details about telephone numbers to the defence. Then the judge had directed prosecution to file their reply on the petition before commencing the trial.

Now, the matter will come up for bearing on November three.

Maria and her naval officer boyfriend Emile Jerome Matthew were arrested for the murder of Neeraj Grover, creative head of Synergy Adlabs, a TV production house, in May.

Grover was stabbed to death allegedly by Matthew inside Susairaj's apartment in suburban Malad on May seven over a suspected love triangle and his body was chopped to pieces before being disposed by burning at Manor in Thane rural.
