Cambridge ESOL finals was held on Oct 15

Chennai, Oct 16: Students who scored high in different levels of the Cambridge Business English Certificate (BEC) examination participated in the second regional final of the 'Cambridge ESOL Best English Speaker Competition" organised at British Council here on Wednesday, Oct 15.

Thousands of students from nearly 40 colleges in Chennai, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram, Coimbatore, Salem, Erode and Kochi took the BEC examination earlier this year. Students who got top 10 scores in the BEC preliminary examination and the top 5 scorers in the BEC Vantage and BEC Higher Level examinations were short-listed to participate in the regional rounds of the contest organised by Cambridge of University ESOL, in association with British Council.
