Verification of documents of vehicles soon

Mysuru, Oct. 15: Strict verification of documents of all vehicles plying in all the districts coming under the Mysore Division will be taken up soon, according to C P Narayanaswamy, Deputy Commissioner of Transport.

The general public had been advised to carry the valid vehicle documents to detect offences committed by vehicle owners and drivers. Despite that, the offences continued unabated with several transport vehicles flouting the Motor Vehicles Act like evasion of taxes. A situation had come to intensify the verification of documents on a serious note, he said.
