Ten-episode series on Taj hotel

Mumbai, Oct 15 (UNI) A new ten-episode series on Mumbai's Taj Mahal Palace&Tower hotel will be telecast on Discovery's '' Travel&Living'' lifestyle channel from tomorrow.

The series will capture the ''behind the scene'' work in one of the world's iconic hotels. The show that took one-and-half years for production, including a 12-week shooting schedule at the Taj, captures the hotel staff as they work to meet the deadlines and the demands of the guests from holding receptions for weddings and dignitaries, creating one-of-a-kind delicacies and providing conceirge services.

''It's a new genre that we are starting and every episode is a complete story in itself. The theme is not Taj, but how a hotel functions,'' Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific and Senior Vice President and General Manager (India) Rahul Johri said here today.
