One held in yesterday's bomb blast incident
Kanpur, Oct 15 (UNI) Police today arrested one person in connection with last evening's powerful bomb blast in Bajaria area here, in which seven persons were critically wounded.
According to police, a grocery store owner Kamal Sahu was arrested on suspicion and a haul of crackers, crude home made bombs were seized from his shop late last night.
Police claimed that people responsible for the blast have been identified and they would be sent behind bars soon.
Seven persons were injured when a countrymade crude bomb exploded in the area of a old wine shop.
Uttar Pradesh Home Secretary Fateh Bahadur Singh arrived here today and held a meeting with officials.
