McAfee launches 2009 range of security suites
Mumbai, Oct 15 (UNI) IT security company McAfee has launched its 2009 range of security suites that will be available for download from the company's site and from worldwide retailers.
The product lineup- Total Protection, Internet Security and VirusScan Plus suites- have been designed to meet the consumer's needs, sources said.
The range will incorporate technology like the Revolutionary Active Protection, that delivers the fastest detection of malware in the world, enterprise-grade spam protection, accelerated PC performance, network monitoring, file protection and safeshopping facility.
''We are very excited to launch our 2009 versions of consumer security software, with significant performance enhancements. Our new Active Protection technology now delivers the fastest detection on the market,'' Todd Gebhart, senior Vice President and General Manager, McAfee Consumer, Mobile and Small Business, said here today.
