HP launches Vivienne Tam-designed notebook @Rs 40,000

New Delhi, Oct 15 (UNI) Hewlett-Packard, the leading notebook vendor, today unveiled a Vivienne Tam-designed special edition notebook, besides three new models, priced in the range of Rs 40,000-Rs 90,000.

''The notebook, designed by international designer Vivienne Tam, and pavilion series laptops on the lines of HP Pavilion DV 4 and DV 5 series, will be priced between Rs 40,000-Rs 90,000, depending upon the model and specification,'' HP Senior Vice President (Global Marketing) Satjiv S Chahil told reporters here.

With 18.7 per cent share, HP retained top slot in Indian notebooks and desktop market in the quarter April-June2008, according to research firm IDC.

The company posted 113.10-billion dollar revenue for the year ended July 2008.
