Higher reaches of HP experience snowfall

Shimla, Oct 15 (UNI) Higher reaches of Himachal Pradesh experienced snowfall while lower areas of the state received rain since early this morning,bringing a considerable fall in the temperature.

Dhauladhar ranges in Kangra district, Pangi and Bharmour areas of Chamba district and Keylong, headquarters of Lahaul Spiti district,received light to moderate snowfall since early morning.

The tribal district of Kinnaur was shrouded in thick clouds.

Lower hills of the state, including Dharamsala, had moderate to heavy rain, accompanied by thuderstrom, intensifying cold conditions in the state.
