FIR against sub-inspector, six others in UP

Etawah, Oct 15 (UNI) Complying the orders of the court after nearby 20 days, police today filed an FIR against seven policemen, including a sub-inspector, for robbing their colleague here.

According to sources, the guilty policemen had intercepted Rakesh Babu, when he was going along with wife on motorcycle in August.

The sleuths had thefted the valuables of the woman and held Rakesh after issuing a 'challan' in his name.

The Court had ordered registration of a case against the guilty policemen on September 27.

The case has been lodged with Bharthana police station.
