Bomb threat in Amrutananadamayi School turned out to be a hoax

Mysore, Oct 15 (UNI) Tension prevailed for some time at the Amrutananadamayi School on the outskirts of the city following a bomb threat call.

However, after a through search by the Police and bomb diffusing squad the threat proved to be hoax to the relief of the school children and the management.

Police said that an anonymous caller in the morning told the School clerk that a bomb was placed in the school and it may explode any moment.

The bomb diffusing squad, who rushed to the spot along with sniffer dogs, searched the school and call was termed as hoax.
