Govt to bear educational expenditure of tribal students

Chennai, Oct 14: Government will bear the entire education expenditure of Adi Dravidar and Tribal students from the State, who wished to pursue medicine in any of the Government Medical Colleges in India.

An official release said here on Tuesday, Oct 14 the students, who had passed the All India Entrance Test for MBBS and PG Diploma Course and wished to pursue their career, would be covered under the programme.

The students could pursue their studies in any of the Government Medical Colleges in India and the State government would bear the total expenditure, the release added.
