Rs 5.47 lakh stolen from Central Excise official's house
Nashik, Oct 14 (UNI) A few unidentified people stole goods worth Rs 5.47 lakh from a Central Excise official's house in the Rajivnagar area of the city.
According to sources, some unidentified people yesterday allegedly broke into the house of Superintendent Vijay Pathak, a resident of Rajivnagar, CIDCO and escaped with gold and silver ornaments and Rs 40,000 cash (aggregating Rs 5,47,000).
Mr Pathak, who were away since October 10, learnt about the incident on returning home.
A case of housebreaking has been registered with Ambad police and further investigations are on.
