Pay additional transport and welfare fund, SHC to hajis
Srinagar, Oct 14 (UNI) The Executive Officer of Jammu and Kashmir State Hajj Committee (SHC) has requested all the confirmed Hajj pilgrims of Hajj-2008 to deposit additional transport, supporting charges and welfare fund.
He said an amount of Rs 1234 has to deposit by Jammu pilgrims, Rs 1838 by Rajouri, Rs 1290 by Udhampur, Rs 1200 by Ramban, Rs 1386 by Reasi, Rs 1502 by Kishtwar, Rs 2108 by Poonch and Rs 1160 by Kathua as transport and supporting charges and welfare fund.
The pilgrims from all the districts of Kashmir Division have to deposit an amount of Rs 740, while pilgrims of Leh and Kargil districts have to deposit Rs 15,660 each towards supporting arrangements, to and fro transport charges and welfare fund.
