Oracle marks phenomenal growth
Chennai, Oct 14 (UNI) Oracle, the largest enterprise software company, has made a phenomenal growth during the last two-years by adding 1200-plus new mid-size Indian companies.
Announcing this to newspersons here, Company Regional Director Anup Varma and Managing Director Krishan Dhawan said the new companies that have adopted Oracle Database spread over various sectors like manufacturing, retail, pharma, financial services, education, BPO, ITES and other industries.
''These companies have preferred Oracle over other similar products available in the market because the products offered by us are scaleable, industry-specific, secured and low cost.'' Mr Anup said, with this, Orcale has been serving more than 4,500 mid-size companies in India with its technology and application products and solutions portfolio.
Among the additions included private and PSU banks, rural banks, gem and retail industry.
Observing that Oracle has presence in 25 cities, he said the focus would now be more on mid-size and growing organisations in metro and hi-growth cities like Salem, Tiruppur, Madurai, Trichy and Coimbatore.
He said Oracle and its partners together offer more than 1,000 enerprise solutions to mid-size companies spanning financial planning, inventory management, treasury management, material management, HR and payroll, production planning and plant maintenance across various industries like financial, manufacturing, retail, healthcare and hospitality.
