L K Advani to hold rally in Ranchi tomorrow
Ranchi, Oct 14 (UNI) The Jharkhand BJP has geared up to welcome party's prime ministerial candidate L K Advani, who will address a rally as part of his ongoing Vijay Sankalp Yatra here at historic Morabadi Ground tomorrow.
This is Mr Advani's second tour of the state as he held his earlier rally on September 23 last in Dumka district.
A senior police officer told UNI that security was tightened in and around the ground as they did not want to any chance as the state capital was already hit by repeated bomb hoax in the run up to the recent Durga puja celebrations.
State BJP spokesperson Dr Umashankar Kediya said Mr Advani was scheduled to land by a special aircraft at 1230 hrs and arrive at the ground at 1400 hrs.
The rally would, however, begin from 1200 hrs tomorrw, he said adding the BJP leader was expected to return by 1430 hrs.
He informed that Mr Advani's proposed programme comprised nearly 150 rallies across the country.
