Four CPI(Maoist) cadres arrested in Jharkhand, explosives recovered

Giridih, Oct 14 (UNI) Altogether four CPI(Maoist) cadres were arrested from a hideout located at the low-lying areas of Parasnath hills under Peertand police station in the district.

Official sources said police personnel had been conducting search operations in the areas during the past two days and recovered explosives from the hideout.

''Police seized two landmines, 500 kg of gelatine, 50 bundles of codex wire were used in making mines, a bag of detonators and about 25 live cartridges that were kept inside a dry water tank,'' police said, adding the raids were still on.
