Five surrender in double murder case

Chennai, Oct 14 (UNI) Five people, involved in a double murder case at suburban Avadi, surrendered before a Magistrate court last evening.

The Magistrate remanded all the five accused to judicial custody.

They were lodged in Puzhal Prison.

Two people, Prem Kumar and Sivakumar, were hacked due to previous enmity late on Sunday night.

Following the double murder, five people - Bhoopalan (23), Rajni (33), Madhivanan (24), Ravi (28) and Selvakumar (20), all hailing from Pattabhiram, surrendered before the 15th George Town Magistrate Court.

A hunt is on to nab two others accused in the case.
