Dr Reddy's subsidiary launches EPICERAM
Hyderabad, Oct 14 (UNI) Promius Pharma, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dr Reddy's Laboratories, today announced the launch of its first product, EpiCeram Skin Barrier Emulsion.
EpiCeram Emulsion is a novel prescription therapy for the treatment of atopic dermatitis, a skin disease that affects more than 15 million patients in the United States.
In a statement, Promius Pharma Executive Vice-President Jeffrey Wasserstein said, ''This product was developed to specifically address the defective skin barrier of atopic patients to safely and effectively control the signs and symptoms of atopic dermatitis.
EpiCeram Emulsion is our first commercialized product and it aligns with our core strategy of striving to meet unmet medical needs.
