College Professor killed in road accident

Chennai, Oct 14 (UNI) In a tragic mishap, a 35-year-old professor of a private collage was run over by a mini lorry at suburban Thirumullaivoyal today.

Police said the professor, Indirakumar, was on his way to the college on a two-wheeler when the mishap occurred.

The speeding mini-lorry hit the two-wheeler from behind and in the impact, the professor was caught under the wheels of the lorry.

He died on the spot.
