3 arrested in connection with attack on Rodrigues, Sakhardande
Panaji, Oct 14 (UNI) Three people were arrested here today in connection with the assault on social activist and Advocate Aires Rodrigues and environment conservationist Prajal Sakhardande by six masked people in a city restaurant last night.
Speaking to mediapersons, North Goa SP Bosco George said a complaint was lodged last night by Jatin Rama Naik, stating that six unknown masked persons barged into the restaurant and attacked him, Advocate Rodrigues and Sakhardande with swords, rods and bottles.
The police have also seized the vehicle used by the attackers.
Search was on for the other culprits.
