Bandits looted property in train
Samastipur, Oct 13: A group of bandits looted property and other belongings worth Rs five lakhs from passengers of the 2522 down Raptisagar express in Samastipur-Muzaffarpur division of East Central Railway on Monday, Oct 13.
Railway police sources here said the bandits, who had boarded the train earlier, began their operation in S-I reserved coach when the train was on its way to Barauni from Muzaffarpur. The dacoits also injured a passenger. Tha robbers escaped after pulling the chain betweeen Dholi and Siho stations.
A case had been registered. Raids were on to nab the dacoits.
