Rupee opens up at 48.30 against US dollar

Mumbai, Oct 13: The rupee on Monday, Oct 13 recovered by 16 paise to open at 48.30 against US dollar from its previous finish of 48.46 following the buying dollars Later, the domestic currency was trading in the range between 48.30 and 48.03 per dollar during the session, dealers said.

The partially-convertible rupee became strong today after Union Finance Minister assured that India was working on more measures to improve liquidity and the rupee would find its own level.
