New Colombite reserves found

Dantewara, CG, Oct 13 (UNI) New reserves of valuable colombite mineral have been found in Dantewara district of Chhattisgarh.

The District Mines Officer said colombite is a rare mineral found in hilly areas.

Considered important due to inherent radioactivity, the mineral could be used in construction of fire-resistant bricks in nuclear reactors.
