HC asks police to avoid coercion against 'Bigg Boss' officials
Mumbai, Oct 13 (UNI) Bombay High Court today asked the city police not to take coercive action against the producer and director of reality show ''Bigg Boss'' against whom a First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged for allegedly telecasting obscenity and vulgarity in the show.
Justice V K Tahilramni has adjourned the hearing till October 24.
The direction was given in response to a petition filed by ''Bigg Boss'' officials, seeking court's nod to quash and set aside the FIR lodged against them.
Earlier, Mumbai Regional Youth Congress president Sunil Ahire had lodged a complaint against the producer and director of the show and owner of Colors, the channel that telecasts the show, and three participants, including Rahul Mahajan, son of late BJP leader Pramod Mahajan, Sambhavana Seth and Payal Rohtagi.
