Fake currency found in SBI's Dalsinghsarai Branch

Samastipur, Oct 13: Fake currency worth Rs 28,000 was recovered from Dalsinghsarai Branch of the State Bank of India, police said on Monday, Oct 13. This was detected when fake notes from the branch were sent for depositing at Patna branch of the RBI (Reserve Bank of India).

Official sources said in course of counting 56 fake currencies of Rs 500 denomination were detected in a lot during deposit.

A case against some unknown bank employees had been lodged at Dalsinghsarai police station. The matter was being invstigated.
