CM to dedicate double-lane Sanjauli-Dhalli by-pass

Shimla, Oct 13 (UNI) Public Works Minister Thakur Gulab Singh said here today that Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal would dedicate the double-lane Sanjauli-Dhalli by-pass on October 17 to facilitate the people of Shimla and Kinnaur districts especially, the fruit growers.

Mr Thakur said that Rs 12 crore project would also facilitate the tourists visiting places like Narkanda, Kufri, Naldehra and Mashobra. It would also decongest the road passing through Sanjauli market, he added.

He further said that with the construction of the by-pass, the long-standing demand of Sanjauli Beopar Mandal has been fulfilled.

After inauguration of the by-pass road, only light vehicles would be permitted to ply on the main Sanjauli-Dhalli road.
