Two killed, 25 injured in bus accident in AP
Tirupati, Oct 12: Two people, a woman and her four-year-old son, were killed on the spot and 25 others injured when the bus in which they were travelling overturned, near Kalroadpalli, in Chandragiri mandal in the wee hours today.
Police said the accident occurred when the volvo bus, carrying 45 passengers, was proceeding to Tirupati from Bangalore.
The deceased, hailing from Mulbagal in Karnataka, were identified as Gayatri (32) and her son Deekshit (four).
All the injured were shifted to Government Ruia Hospital, Tirupati.
The condition of the five injured was stated to be serious, the police added.
