Nuclear deal will boost India's Development: Kamat
Panaji, Oct 12 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Digamber Kamat said the Indo-US nuclear deal will boost India's development which was even supported by former President A P J Abdul Kalam.
The Chief Minister was speaking at the flag off ceremony of Parmanu Shakti Vijay Yatra, a rally organised by Goa Pradesh Youth Congress on the nuclear deal at Margao in South Goa yesterday.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajya Sabha MP Shantaram Naik came down heavily on BJP ''for making the nuclear deal a political issue.'' He said the BJP Government led by Atal Behari Vajpayee had made an attempt to come out with a similar deal, however it turned out to be unsuccessful.
