Left parties trying to form third front: Yechury
Kolkata, Oct 12 (UNI) The Left parties are trying to form a non-Congress and non-BJP front as a third alternative in the country, CPI(M) Polit Bureau member Sitaram Yechury said today.
" An effort is on to form a non-BJP and non-Congress force. We are discussing it,'' he told reporters at the end of the first day's session of the party's central committee meeting.
Mr Yechury said the process would start by holding talks with different non-Congress and non-BJP parties in different states.
" However, we are yet to decide who will talk and to whom,'' he said.
