Haryana studying 6th Pay Commission recomendations
Fatehabad, Oct 12 (UNI) Haryana Finance Minister Birender Singh today said that the recommendations of the sixth Pay Commission for central government employees were being reviewed by a four-member committee headed by the state Chief Secretary.
The recommendations for pensioners is being reviewed by a three-member committee of the state government, he said at a media conference at Gorakhpur village in the district today.
He assured that as soon as these two committees submit their reports, the government would go ahead in implementing the recommendations. He asserted that the recommendations of the sixth Pay Commission would be implemented in the state either by Diwali or by the end of this year.
Mr Singh said that Haryana had received an investment of Rs 40,000 crore and investment proposals to the tune of Rs 27,000 crore were in pipeline. He said that a target of attracting an investment of Rs two lakh crore was set for the state but the global depression, had affected the speed of investment.
