28 VCK workers arrested in Tiruchirapalli
Tiruchirapalli, Oct 12: Twenty-eight workers of Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi (VCK) were arrested when they attempted to burn Sri Lankan President Mahinda Rajapakse in efflgy near Central bus stand here.
Police said they were protesting on Saturday, Oct 11 against the ongoing genocide against Tamils in the Island nation by the Sri Lankan Army.
