Youth hangs himself from ceiling fan

Fatehgarh Sahib, Oct 11 (UNI) A youth allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan at his home in Bhaur village in the district today, police sources here said.

The victim identified as Jaspal Singh, had got married about a month back. The reason for the suicide were not known but the youth was suspected to be drug addict.

The police initiated proceedings under section 174 of the CrPC and then handed over the body to the relatives of the deceased.
