Students observe World Blind Day
Lucknow, Oct 11 (UNI) Visually challenged students of the state capital today observed World Blind Day by taking out a procession with placards ''Kamzori hai maut, takat hai zindgi'' (weakness is death, strength is life).
Under the banner of National Association for the Blind India, an NGO working for the visually challenged since 1989, the students marched on the prominent areas of the city.
The NGO is rendering integrated education to the blind students in Lucknow, Barabanki, Faizabad, Hardoi and Agra under which nearly 300 students have got admission in general schools.
