Kerala: Poltical clashes kill one RSS activist
Kannur, Oct 11: One RSS activist was killed and another seriously injured when they were attacked with crude bombs allegedly by CPI(M) workers at Kolassery, near Thalassery in the district, on Friday, Oct 10 night. Police identified the deceased as C K Anoop (21), RSS Mukhya Sikshak from Komathu Para.
The injured, Rijesh (22), was admitted to the Medical College Hospital in Kozhikode.
Three houses of BJP-RSS workers were also attacked.
Strong police pickets have been posted in the area to check further attacks and spread of violence.
The BJP has called for a 'hartal' in the district today in protest against the murder.
