Missing software engineer returns

Korba, Chhattisgarh, Oct 11 (UNI) Six months after she went missing from Mumbai railway station, a software engineer hailing from this mining town returned to the house of her close relative in Pune.

Ms Meghna Subedar's father Dr Mohan Subedar told UNI here that he has asked her daughter to stay at the home of a relative Vinayak Karkare in Pune.

Dr Subedar has left for Pune. He has also informed Mumbai Railway Police about the return of her daughter.

Ms Subedar, who was working with a firm in Bangalore, left her job and reached by air to Mumbai where she went to railway station to board the Geetanjali Express. She was in contact with her father till then before she disappeared.

Two months later, when the body of a girl was found on the sea beach in Goa, it was suspected to be hers. However, DNA test revealed that the body was not hers.

Ms Subedar called her father from Pune yesterday and asked him to bring her home.
