Madonna and her hubby in the mother of all movie battles!

Washington, Oct 11 : "Queen of pop" Madonna could end up beating her director hubby Guy Ritchie at his own game, with a film of hers said to be more popular than his.

Reviews for Ritchie's feature "RockNRolla" are in, and they are almost the same as his "Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels", with the New York Times calling the plot as "idiotic", Fox News reported.

The movie had been passed on to Warner Bros. and they had tried to release it in the summer, but no one wanted to take it, and it is now scheduled for release on October 31.

Meanwhile, the IFC has revealed that it will screening Madge's "Filth and Wisdom" in New York on October 17.

The 80-minute feature, which had won raves last winter at the Berlin Film Festival, could turn out to be a big success if it does well at the IFC Centre in Manhattan.
