AP: Zonal meet of Lok Satta from Oct 12

Hyderabad, Oct 11: The Lok Satta party will hold zonal conferences in Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Rayalaseema Regions from Oct 12 to 15 to galvanise party workers for elections due in next few months. Party President Jayaprakash Narayan will preside over the conferences and hold detailed discussions with party activists and leaders of district units.

He will also review mandal-wise implementation of 'A day in a village' programme taken up by the party and guide leaders in drafting local manifesto, Party General Secretary D V V S Varma said in a statement here.

Dr Narayan will also review the preparations for organisational elections by secret ballot in November and December.

The zonal conferences will be held in Visakhapatnam on October 12, covering Srikakulam, Vizianagaram and Vizag Districts, in Tadepalligudem on October 13, covering East and West Godavari Districts, in Tenali on October 14, covering Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore Districts, in Proddutur on October 15, covering Kadapa, Kurnool, Chittoor and Anantapur Districts.
