KVK demands implementation of 6th CPC

Puducherry, Oct 11: The employees of the Krishi Vigayan Kendra (KVK), affiliated to the Centre of India Trade Union (CITU) and All India Trade Union Congress (AITUC) staged a procession to the assembly, demanding immediate implementation of the Sixth Pay Commission recommendations on Saturday, Oct 11.

The agitation was also to press for scrapping of the one-man Commission constituted by the administration here to study the situation before submitting its recommendations.

They were waylaid by the police on Ambur Saalai, where they held a demonstration and dispersed.
