IT effective in better administration: Chouhan
Bhopal, Oct 11 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said information technology has an important role in effective administration.
Mr Chouhan, while speaking at the inauguration of e-governance projects of the state government here, said 340 centres, including common service centres, information kiosks, civil facility centre, were being started at block, tahsil, district and divisional headquarters.
He said the Chief Minister of ministers could not practically reach every place. Under such circumstances, information kiosks would provide round the clock service and would revolutionise information.
The Chief Minister talked to some operators at information kiosks via video conferencing.
Information Technology Minister Kailash Vijaywargiya said e-kiosks would ensure easy availability of documents.
