HPTDC offers special package for Karva Chauth
Shimla, Oct 11 (UNI) In a unique offer, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation Ltd (HPTDC) has announced 'Special Karva Chauth Package' in its hotels from October 16 to 19.
During this period, a couple staying in any HPTDC hotel will have to pay for two nights for a three nights stay. Moreover, the fasting ladies would be provided 'Sargi' consisting of Feni, Bananas, Milk, Gulab Jamun, Mathi etc on complimentary basis, a HPTDC spokesman said.
On the Karva Chauth day they will also be provided Arg or Pooja and Karva with Rice, Urd Dal, Druva, Flowers, Kungu (Kumkum) etc. in the evening free of cost. Hotels of Tourism Corporation would provide dry fruits, Puna-Naiz, Suhagi (Bindi, Churi, Kazal, Ribbon, Mehandi) etc on the payment basis.
The hotels would also serve fasting dinner to the couple as complimentary.
